Dear english speaking visitors This website serves to provide information for parties interested in renting a town house in the village of Fayence on the french Riviera. This site mostly contains information in Danish about the 17th century villa, pictured to the right. The village of Fayence Fayence is a small village of about 4000 inhabitants, situated about 60 kms/ 40 miles west of Nice. To the north and west lie large, unspoilt forests. The village lies on a hill, 400 mtrs ( 1200 ft) above sea level. The village retains all of the atmosphere of a typical Provence village. There is a market in the church square three times a week ( see the picture to the right). And yet all of the Riviera, from Monaco in the east to St Tropez in the west is within one hours drive. Our townhouse Our villa lies at the top of the village, just below the village clock-tower ; a local landmark. From some rooms there are fabulous views of the valley below and the Massif d'Esterel to the South. The streets are narrow and steep. Therefore there are no cars in our street. Just peace and quiet. Yet you can park just 30 yards away. We rent the villa out on a weekly or monthly basis. It houses 4 people in authentic, luxurious surroundings with all modern conveniences. It is ideal for mature couples seeking a relaxing break in an informal atmosphere. You have 5 restaurants within 100 yards of the house, and 15 restaurants in the village. Of all categories, from top to bottom. Since it is a townhouse there is no garden and no pool.So the villa is probably unsuitable for families with small children. There are two terraces, so meals can be both prepared and enjoyed al fresco. Nearby there are many golf-courses and a large lake with watersports. You can enjoy nature walks in the beautiful mountains behind the village and the best beaches of the Riviera are only 35 mintues away. How do we rent the villa ? If you are interested in renting the villa, first check the "Bestilling" page to see if the week(s) you are interested in are available and then send us an e-mail at:- or call us on our mobile +45 22 20 29 48 (ms. Hanne Øster) Even if Danish isn't a language that you master ( few do !), you can enjoy surfing our site anyway. See the pictures of the house, the village, the surroundings, and links to many sites ( some in English, some in French) describing local attractions.
